Batista injured, why give him the title? More to the story?

If WWE knew Batista was injured going into last night's PPV, then why did they even bother giving him the title?

Also, another post said there was more to the story, what can that be?

If they give Orton back the title I think someone back stage is going goofy. Makes no since why they would give Batista the belt if they knew he was hurt. They knew he had Surg on Tuesday.

This was very puzzling me to me. Without any concern to the injury I am still clueless as to why the title would have been put on Batista. The guy is a glorified jobber! I can only see this as an attempted to make Orton the most pathetic yet hated champion in the history of the business.

He wins the title in a questionable….errrrrr…… lame six man tag match. Goes onto the retain the title in any fashion but honorable and caps it off by having the title handed back to him after a loss at Extreme Rules (if that is how it plays out).

Add in that he has completely used the Legacy to maintain his lackluster title reign and you have the making of the most cowardly title reign ever.

It seems he has been anointed as greatness but they are doing absolutely no favors to making him memorable

This way Batista can leave on top in case he won't be able to come back. Now that HHH is back they will renew the Orton/HHH feud. Legacy will be in a tag team feud with the Colons. Batista had said he would only stay in the business for another year or so. He also said that if he became injury prone he woud quit. . . .

Maybe with Batista gone WWE will take serious consideration into making some other wrestlers Top stars.

A-F'n-men!!

the reason Batista got the title is so it could be vacant and that would bring back HHH and restart the feud with Orton.

a cool way to actually have the vacant title won would have a King of the Ring tournament. WWE did this back at Survivor Series 98 if im not mistaken.

BRING BACK KENNEDY!!

Kennedy can stay gone . . . All he was good for was whining.

Raw is having a race to the title so that the now vacant title will have a tournament.

No, it's having one match. A fatal four way this coming week. Triple H vs. Cena vs. Big Show vs. Orton
