What is your favorite video game franchise?

For me it would have to be Mario.
Every sport, way to platform, and type of game imaginable has had the main character replaced with Mario. He has put out some some classics and heck.
No matter how many times you beat the original game you go back to play it again. He's been in over 200 games. Let your mind get around that number, 200. How can you not get over-saturated with Mario? Because he shoots out the classics.

Probably a toss up between Smackdown vs Raw and Madden for me. Those are the only two games that I buy every year.

Final Fantasy easily. I've played almost all of them multiple times. Heck, I've even beaten the Japanese only release versions a couple of times too!

Wow, it's between 3 for me.
Mario, Double Dragon, and Madden. I guess overall it would have to be Madden because some of the Mario games weren't my cup of tea and there were only a few Double Dragons.

That's a good one. Double Dragon series was great. For me, Mario, Madden, and probably Grand Theft, let out a lot of aggression with the Grand Theft series.

As much as a I love the GTA series, I couldn't quite put it as my top one, since it's only been an amazingly awesome series for 4+ games now. I remember playing GTA 2 on playstation, and it was okay, but not great.

While with Final Fantasy, I've been playing that since I got my NES waaaay back in 1990.
