850 Tickets Sold...say's Ryan

So Ryan Clark says only 850 tickets where sold a week before Glory this year! could this be true? I find it hard to believe and if true can even Hogan save there live show's?

Ryan Clark
Last night's (Nov 6th) TNA live event in Murray, Kentucky drew approximately 400 to 500 fans. The show saw AJ Styles retain his TNA World Heavyweight Championship against Samoa Joe.

Why the hell do they attract so few people?

I dont understand it either why does the WWE sell out all over the country but TNA can barely get 1000 people in attendence? They are basically the new competition to the titanic WWE and should be able to sell tickets like WCW use to...

TNA isnt too big over here, at least not in my area. I think a lot of it has do with the fact that the E has been away around way longer, and have had/ have better publicity and marketing, and can afford to go over the top to get their product out. TNA is getting their product out there, but they have a huge competitor and its gonna take awhile to break down that wall. People know what to expect from WWE and therefore usually more willing to spend money on them, as compared to TNA who many people have recently discovered and are unsure of what kind of show they put on.

That may be true but UK is small and TNA is big over here we love the way they wrestle and hate the 'buckle up teddy' stuff I think WWE is losing alot of oversea's sales infact i think thats a fact!

I think what the case is, is that TNA just isn't mainstream like the WWE is. If you just ask the random person out there what they associate with wrestling, they'll know of the WWE or WWF. And so when kids get into wrestling they gravitate towards the WWE first, and ask parents to buy tickets.

The second thing I think is the location. TNA only does TV in Orlando, where they do well enough. Then they do house shows, but they mostly limit their house shows to the south and east. Sometimes they go north, sometimes they go west, but rarely. So I think when TNA comes to town, people just don't know.

Plus there's the whole PG thing with the WWE, kids can convince their parents to buy tickets, but at TV14 with TNA, it's harder for them to do it.

I remember last year TNA was over in Albany,NY right where i live,. They drew less then 1000 and i was shocked. An arena that sells out to wwe on a regular basis and for a house show they could barely scratch the upper decks. It was a sad thing in all

I'm a die hard TNA fan and have been since 04 but to see how they cant generate a 1/3 of what wwe can generate in house show sales is sad and shocking at the same time.

Everybody has pretty much hit it right on the head. I mean, a lot of wrestling fans go to wrestling shows, but there are also a lot of people out there who just go for the fun of it, many who aren't even wrestling fans. If you ask a non-wrestling fan what WWE is, they'll tell you, oh... it's pro wrestling.

If you ask them what TNA is, they'll say "Titts and @ss?"

The Impact taping in Universal Studios in Orlando they dont even charge for seating you just need a Park pass which for FL residents is $ 100, and even then they cant fill the seats all year. I went about 2 years ago this time and they had us sit every other seat to make the arean look more filled. Then when they are packed you have to fight for a bench seat, they need to seriously restructure get the right financial backing like WCW had with Turner, they need to expose the WWE as the cookie cutter wrestling show they are and prove they are the better "wrestling" program which i think to me at least equals more "entertainment". they need to use Hogan like a cheap date and dump him after a few months
