Raw Rating

Last night's edition of WWE Monday Night Raw
scored a 3.4 cable rating. The show did hours of 3.5 and 3.38. While a good rating going up against both the World Series and Monday Night Football, the rating once again dropped during the second hour.

I hope it keeps dropping, maybe that will get them to stop treading water with the product and start working towards the future.

Still remembers when WWF had ratings of 8.0 weekly. I remember how 7.0 was a low rating! LOL Ahhhhh the days of Attitude.. GET A CLUE VINCE!

You guys do realize that the WWE produces roughly 208hrs of television a year and that's not including ppv's and unlike every other show on television it doesn't have an off season and they've been doing this for 15 years straight, of course it's going to be hard for them to come up with compelling television every week. Not only that but the majority of people on here are 15-30 years old complaining about a product that is targeted towards children.

The Attitude era is the reason why RAW is doing so poorly now. Attitude was all about drinking beer, flipping the finger, breaking and entering, destroying property, people dressing up as one another and mocking them, there was hardly any wrestling at all.

It's not so much the fact that it's geared towards children, as the fact that it's not a good product right now. Of course I wish it was the attitude era still, but I accept that that is gone. Impact may have less wrestling than Raw, but it sure has better quality wrestling. It doesn't have segments that bore the hell out of me about 15 seconds in and force me to fast forward through.

It may be geared towards kids, but it doesn't have look like it's produced by kids too. Kids may like repetition, but for the rest of us, it gets old.

Yanks could have taken it and what a helluva football game.... I think it is a strong rating. E should be overly happy.

Hey I'll be the first to admit that Raw hasn't been that great the last few months I'm just saying there are things we need to remember when complaining about it, and actually the last 2 Raw's have been pretty good. RBV makes a good point considering what they were up against they're probably happy with the number.

I've never been a great believer in ratings. To me, it's a bunch of crap. If you took the time to research on how they come up with those, you might agree. Sure, it's the only game in town and the industry buys it, but when it's all said and done, it's speculation sold as scientific results, it doesn't even gauge DVR's or Tivo views yet.

I respect your opinion.. But that was IMO when I thought wrestling was good. And it was! Every PPV was actually very good as well.. Unlike now.. IMO again..
